About Noble, Illinois

Noble is a small sized, rural town that has a lot to offer. Located in the heart of southeastern Illinois, we take pride in our friendly community that is capable of making anyone feel right at home.

With a population of just over 750 people, Noble may not have all the flashy attractions of a big city, but the town provides a secure and supportive environment that allows our residents to live comfortably.

For the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election, the Village of Noble Caucus will be held at the Noble Village Hall, 113 E. North Ave., Noble, Illinois on December 3, 2018. Citizens Party 6:00 p.m. Peoples Party 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of nominating candidates for the following positions: 3 Trustees (4 year term). Certificates of Nomination are to be filed with the Municipal Clerk during the filing period of December 10, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. through December 17, 2018, at 4:00p.m. Should a simultaneous lottery be necessary, the lottery will be scheduled for December 18, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at the Noble Village Hall.

**All ground decorations and flowers need to be removed from the Noble Cemetery by March 31. The Village employees will remove all ground decorations on April 3.**
Information on the cemetery is available at the Village Hall. If you have any questions please contact Tresa Hundley at the Village Hall via e-mail, telephone, or stop by the office. If you request information via e-mail, please put "Noble Cemetery" as the subject of your e-mail.


The 911 coordinator advises residents to post their house numbers on a green reflective address sign to reduce confusion and increase response time. This is not mandatory.


The Annual Water-Quality Report for the Noble water Supply is available via this website and is available for pickup at the Village Hall during normal office hours. The report contains information on the source of drinking water, levels of any contaminants that were detected during 2017 and compliance with other drinking water rules, as well as educational materials. Since this report will be mailed, a publishing will not occur. A free copy may be picked up at the Village Hall in Noble from 8 a.m.-12p.m., 1p.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Pay Water/Sewer/Garbage Bill Drop Box

We now have a convenient way for you to pay your Water, Sewer, and Garbage bill at the Village Hall in Noble. You can drive up and drop in the payment box. All payments received after 4pm will be posted on the next business day if you use the payment box.
